Confidentiality and Patient Boundaries: Webinar

Sensitivity for Health Professionals: Webinar

Duration: 5 hours    Cost: $450

The training is a customized one-on-one 5-hour instructor led webinar focused on helping individuals build their inclination to make good faith choices when dealing with the information of individuals in care and to be consistently respectful of boundaries.

Personal growth comes when we take ownership of and set boundaries on our behavior and focus on impact rather than intent when working with individuals in care and their information.

The workshop gives participants some practical tools and techniques that will improve their ability to make choices that:

  • Values confidentiality; and
  • Respects the legitimate interest of stakeholders to have their personal information protected.

In addition, the attendee will gain some practical tools and techniques that will improve their ability to engage in communication with coworkers, clients, and adults in care that:

  • supports them appropriately;
  • discerns the boundaries (property line) of others;
  • honors professional boundaries.

The facilitator is tasked with helping participants through the process of thinking about and examining their beliefs, feelings, and observations in order to not only build self-awareness but also to develop depth of thinking with respect to the impact of their behavior on others.
